Oak Bluff West is growing, children however only have one small play area when you first come in to the area. I don't see anything in the future development that accounts for green space for our children?

    Hi Kerry,

There is a green space in a future phase that would allow for another mini-playground. In our development agreement with the the RM of Macdonald, we are not required to put in any playgrounds, but we do plan for some public areas to be suitable for one. Most playgrounds are funded through community fundraising initiatives and must be approved by the RM.

Existing Oak Bluff has a large playground that is accessible on foot or bike through the trail that leads toward the school. Additionally, the school has a its own playground that can be used by the community.

Getting together with the Rm is it possible to put that one more green space or park on Wheelwright and Orchard gate corner. The young families here in Oak Bluff need a park at or near that location. The school would service older kids.
