If you didn’t plan a family getaway this summer there's still plenty of activities to tire the family out, and they’re only a short drive away.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park offers springy versions of dodgeball, basketball, volleyball or jump freestyle at the open jump session. Skymania for ages 10 to 15 offers 90 minutes of jumping, plus pizza and drink for $22. Or take your little hoppers for a toddler and parent bounce session.

Every Tuesday and Thursday night at Fort Whyte Alive is Open Paddle. On now until August 27 — and under the supervision of a pro paddler — take a canoe or a kayak for a spin out on the water. It’s a great way to get outdoors and a great way to try a vessel on for size. Family paddle is $15.

Adrenaline Adventures has switched to its summer program and has different weekday features including Family Day Tuesday where four family members get in for the price of three admissions. Summer activities include cable wakeboarding and a climbing and ziplining adventure.

Get some extra practice on the green at Bridges Golf Course for Couples Night — a casual and fun way for the two of you to get into the game. Shot gun start at 6:00 p.m., $50 per person for 9-holes, and includes cart and dinner. Call to register, or just stop by and hit a bucket of golf balls for only $6.25 anytime.

Enjoy the summer at home.
