Summer camp for creative kids

Have or know a child or children who love creative art activities? For one week children aged seven to 11 of the Rural Municipalities of MacDonald & Headingley are welcomed to participate in a safe, fun, and exciting one week Summer Camp for Creative Kids! This year’s program is different than last years and each day a new theme will be explored through various mediums including music, dance, drama, visual arts, and crafts taught by an experienced teacher.  Students will have daily works of art and crafts to take home and share.   

Creativity will thrive through various activities and cooperative games using improvisation and movement.  Songs, instrumental, and other performance pieces will be presented to parents or caregivers at the end of each day.*

Children should come prepared with snacks, lunch, and water as well as hat and sunscreen as breaks and some activities will be outdoors (weather permitting).

*Performances for parents, caregivers, and guests will take place at 3:30 p.m. each day.

Out of district fees will apply to those outside the RMs of Macdonald & Headingley.

 When:  1 week, July 7^th – 11^th

              9:00 am – 3:45 pm, (depending on length of performance)

Registration Fee:  $225.00, first child

                                 $175.00 each additional child
