Here are some spring time activities for you to enjoy near Oak Bluff West:
Soccer

Soccer skills for coaches

Soccer skills for coaches is held at Sanford Collegiate on Wednesday April 17 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This clinic is for first-time coaches and those who are coaching young children. Participants will learn sample drills, basic rules and how to organize practices. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 10. Homemade-Soap

Living green, living well – DIY personal care

Discover how to make natural personal care products. This class will help you to reduce your waste and exposure to chemicals. Learn how to be more environmentally friendly and save money at the same time! Each participant will choose a couple of products to make during class and will then be provided with instructions on how to make a variety of other home products as well. This class will be held in Oak Bluff School on Tuesday, April 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Registration deadline is Tuesday April 23. Softball

Softball Umpire clinic

This softball umpire clinic is available to those who are ages 12 and up. Participants will attend eight hours of classroom and on-field training to receive a level 1 certification. To pass this course, members will need a minimum of 60% to obtain their certification. This course is offered through Caisse Community Centre in La Salle on Tuesdays, April 2 and 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Registration deadline is Tuesday March 26.
Babysitter

Babysitter’s training

This babysitter’s training course is available to those who are ages 12 and up as of June 30, 2019. Learn the basics about caring for children, safety in the home and first-aid. This class will run out of the Caisse Community Centre in La Salle on Saturday April 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration deadline is Monday April 22.
